Quote

As this is my last update for 2021. I would like to take the opportunity to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone within the Lisk community, who have been patiently following and supporting our development progress. The Lisk journey has already been a long one, but with the release of Lisk Core v3 this year I feel we made a very big stride towards changing Lisk for the better. I thank you eternally for staying with us on this journey. We will keep on developing until we achieve the ultimate vision for Lisk. This I can assure you.

I would also like to thank everyone at Lightcurve for all their hard work this year. At the beginning of this year we set out on a big mission to release Lisk Core v3, and by August we had done it! This was a great accomplishment, and for that I congratulate you! It has been a true honour and a real pleasure to work with you all. I wish everyone a very nice holidays and a well deserved break. I hope that we can come back in the new year reinvigorated and ready to meet our next big challenge, that being to finally realise Interoperability, and make Lisk the most accessible blockchain application platform ever!

With all of that being said, below are the initial goals for 2022:

  • Release Lisk Service v0.6.0, Lisk Desktop v2.2.0/v2.3.0, and Lisk Mobile v2.0.0 into production, thus completing the Emerald phase for these products
  • Complete the development of Lisk SDK v6.0.0 until the point of achieving "Base Interoperability", thus allowing alpha testing to start
  • Start the development of Lisk Core v4.0.0, Lisk Service v0.7.0, Lisk Desktop v3.0.0, and Lisk Mobile v3.0.0, thus commencing the implementation of the Sapphire roadmap phase (towards "Base - Interoperability")
